KYC Analyst

Ebury maintains high standards in client interactions. We ensure that our clients and transactions comply with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. When onboarding a client, we perform a crucial screening process on the prospect and their transactions. This is where you come in!

Role Purpose

The Analyst is responsible for conducting onboarding reviews according to current policies to ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are met. You will collaborate with the sales team to provide a smooth onboarding experience while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze customer relationships, documentation, activity patterns, and transactions to identify potential suspicious activity or inconsistencies with the client’s profile.
2. Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory standards, and internal processes.
3. Identify
   - risk clients based on red flags or other triggers.
4. Resolve
   -
   - day issues during the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process and escalate complex challenges appropriately.
5. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
6. Communicate task status to colleagues, supervisors, and managers; escalate issues promptly.
7. Manage caseload throughout the entire onboarding process in a timely manner.

Desired Experience

• University degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a KYC role
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in desktop office software such as MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Suite, and others
• Experience working in a
