Job Description
As part of the Residential Heat Pump development team, you will be responsible for all EMC lab related activities for heat pump appliances and components. As part of your role, you will be required deliverables in both the EMC lab and EMC development.
Your contribution to something big
- Develop and implement robust (automated) evaluation techniques & tools to accelerate the test result creation and effectiveness of equipment and personnel usage;
 - Test heat pumps and components, including the appliance itself and its interface with the system;
 - Analyze test data and assess the operational status of heat pumps;
 - Take responsibility for the overall EMC lab and its equipment, including development, improvement, and maintenance activities; specify test rigs and lab infrastructure, and oversee their
- up and implementation; - Coordinate the metrology processes of lab equipment in the Heat Pump Development Lab (including contact with certification institutes, calibration, uncertainty calculation, and round robin tests);
 - Act as the interface between the subcontracted test facility and the project, providing technical oversight and management;
 - Organize and guide the testing team in executing
- house EMC certification tests; - Ensure compliance of heat pump products and components with normative and legal requirements;
 - Serve as a contact point for EMC-related normative and legal standards, promoting understanding and knowledge sharing within the organization.
 
Qualifications
- What distinguishes you:
 - Education: MSc or Ph
D in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. - Experience:
- Proven experience working with EMC compliance, testing and measurement;
 - Lab related experience in methods for having equipment and infrastructure according to the needed standards and in compliance with the target application.
 
 - Know‑how:
- Knowledge on CE marking compliance, EMC related standards and system dependencies;
 - Knowledge on related standards such as EN55014-1, EN55014-2, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, EN61000-3-11, and EN61000-3-12 is valuable;
 - Valued knowledge on product engineering tools and design reviews.
 
 - Languages: Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
 - Working Style and Methods:

 - Problem solving mindset, results oriented and pro‑active attitude.
