About Delox

Delox is a
- off born in 2018 from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and in 2024 created its US branch Delox USA. Delox technology consists of a solid formulation of hydrogen peroxide that enables the design of a new generation of
- decontamination devices for various industries. Delox's mission is to successfully solve the problem of microbial contamination and is currently focused on infection control and eradicating the need for social distancing. We are designing a new generation of
- decontamination devices to be integrated into HVAC systems – and we need your help for that

What do we need?

• Bachelor's or Master's in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Solid experience in laboratory work
• Comfortable working with microbial cultures and sterile procedures
• Familiarity with microbiology techniques is highly valued
• Proactive, independent thinker, and initiative taker
• Versatile and able to adapt to various tasks and situations
• Excellent collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
• Proficient in written and spoken Portuguese and English

What will you do?

• Contribute to microbiological testing that helps us validate our
  - decontamination tech - from air sampling to
  - level microbial culture assessments.
• Work closely with the team to develop and test our
  - decontamination equipment, helping us refine and improve our
  - cleaning processes.
• Keep clear, accurate notes on experiments, observations and results so the whole team can learn and move fast together.
• Support
  -
  - day lab operations, like preparing materials and media, keeping equipment in good shape, and helping maintain a
  - running workspace.
• Be involved in producing and packaging our
  - decontamination formulations, including carrying out quality checks to make sure everything meets our standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, friendly team to brainstorm and build the next generation of
  - decontamination solutions.
