Entry-Level Land Surveyor

We are searching for an Entry-Level Land Surveyor to join our team in Porto. As a land surveyor, you will play a crucial role in measuring and mapping the physical features of land. You will use specialized tools and techniques to gather data on elevations, boundaries, and other relevant information. This position is ideal for someone starting their career in land surveying.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist senior surveyors with fieldwork tasks, such as setting up equipment and taking measurements
2. Use surveying instruments and equipment to collect accurate data
3. Perform calculations to determine property boundaries and elevations
4. Create detailed maps and reports based on collected data
5. Ensure all work is completed accurately and within established timelines

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Surveying or related field preferred
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and work hard is essential
• Proficiency with surveying tools and software is an asset
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract: Full-time, 12-month contract with possibility of extension
