Lead AI Engineer

to operate as the

right hand of the Chief of AI

, driving the technical direction of their AI stack, accelerating new use cases, and leading the development of
- generation Gen
AI capabilities.

Work modality:

HYBRID in Madrid (Spain) or Lisbon (Portugal) (3 days office/week)

What you'll do

• Design, train, and deploy advanced LLMs and
  - grade ML models.
• Build scalable data pipelines (batch/streaming) and
  -
  - end
  - tuning workflows.
• Implement automated evaluation frameworks (A/B testing, LLM-as-judge, validation dashboards).
• Develop and optimize
  
  RAG pipelines
  
  , vector search, and agentic architectures.
• Improve latency, reliability, scalability, and inference cost across the platform.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, delivery, and leadership.
• Define AI standards, best practices, and technical strategy across the organization.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in ML Engineering, Data Engineering, Applied AI, or similar roles.
• Proven experience deploying
  
  LLMs to production
  
  at scale.
• Strong Python + Py
  Torch/Tensor
  Flow/JAX skills.
• Experience with Airflow, Spark, Dagster, or similar pipeline tools.
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) + Docker + Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Lang
  Graph, Llama
  Index, or agent orchestration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of ML theory, inference optimization, and MLOps.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership ability.

Nice to have

• Production experience with RAG systems and vector databases.
• Experience in regulated environments (banking, insurance).
• Prior technical leadership or architecture ownership.
