As a result, we are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Cloud Architect.

Role Summary

As a Lead Cloud Architect at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining
- based infrastructure and artificial intelligence systems for the organization. You will assist the Enterprise Architect in developing a cloud and AI strategy, as well as establishing
- documented governance models to support and guide our group IT and business functions.

Your Primary Tasks Will Be

1. Cloud architecture design: Design
   - based solutions, selecting appropriate platforms and services considering scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
2. AI and Machine Learning: Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to advance STG’s ventures into AI, including evaluating and implementing machine learning, NLP, computer vision, and other AI technologies to meet business needs.
3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud and AI systems for efficiency, scalability, financial viability, and security.
4. Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards, including access controls and encryption.
5. Research and Innovation: Stay current with trends in cloud computing and AI, explore innovative solutions, and recommend new tools or technologies.
6. Documentation and Communication: Document architecture, decisions, and implementations; communicate with stakeholders, including executives and clients, about project updates and outcomes.

Knowledge and Expertise

• Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or similar roles.
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity & access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e. g. , ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Experience with AI/ML systems, including model development or deployment, NLP, or computer vision.
• Familiarity with Dev
  Ops practices and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF and governance models.
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
