Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes across Snowflake, dbt and the Azure Data Stack.
• Build scalable and reliable data architectures to support analytics, reporting and AI/ML workloads.
• Implement and manage data orchestration workflows using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Develop and optimize data models ensuring performance, consistency and data quality across systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists and software engineers.
• Ensure security, scalability and observability in all data engineering deliverables.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, coding practices and automation processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest data engineering technologies and cloud innovations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake, dbt and the Azure Data Stack (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, etc. ).
• Proven expertise in data modelling, pipeline orchestration and data warehouse design.
• Solid experience with SQL and one or more programming languages (e. g. , Python or Scala).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control and testing in data pipelines.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; strong verbal and written English is mandatory.
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Residency.
