We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer, to integrate the team of our client - a company in the retail sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

* Plan and allocate resources, define and implement processes and procedures, and promote best practices to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee the daily operations of the Data team, including project development, solution support, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs);

* Identify improvement opportunities, research innovative solutions, and create evolution plans to ensure data systems align with best practices and meet organizational needs;

* Manage relationships with vendors by monitoring service levels, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality service delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, prepare technical specifications, and ensure successful project implementation;

* Define and monitor SLAs and KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement corrective measures to ensure operational efficiency and service quality. Develop team members through training, performance evaluations, and knowledge sharing, ensuring alignment with HR policies and fostering a motivated and capable team.

What is required from you?

* Academic background in Information Systems or other similar area will be valued;

* Previous professional experience, at least 05 years of experience, in data projects;

* Solid experience in team's management;

* Strong knowledge in SQL and Google Cloud Platform;

* Sense of responsibility and commitment;

* Ability to communicate clearly and objectively his ideas and points of view.
