About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Data Science & Machine Learning to guide the development of intelligent systems that support how we plan, market, and deliver across our
- tech ecosystem. This is a
- on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where experimentation, ownership, and collaboration are key.

You’ll help shape our ML strategy, mentor a talented team, and build models that directly support business goals. We’re applying tools that create real value, and we’re focused on doing so sustainably, not at breakneck speed.

In this role, you will:

• Define and evolve our ML roadmap in alignment with company priorities
• Lead and support a
  - functional team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations
• Stay close to the models, the metrics, and the
  -
  - day decisions
• Help us move fast without breaking what works

Key Areas of Impact

You’ll focus on:

• Customer Personalization: Develop and refine recommender systems to help tailor meals, content, and communications to individual preferences.
• Forecasting & Resource Planning: Use predictive models to support supply chain, logistics, and operations—helping reduce waste and improve planning efficiency.
• Marketing & Customer Insights: Build models that improve targeting, attribution, and campaign effectiveness, and support better understanding of customer value over time.
• Retention & Engagement: Lead efforts in churn prediction and lifecycle modeling, contributing to strategies that deepen loyalty and extend customer relationships.
• Model Ownership & ML Foundations: Oversee the full model lifecycle—from research to deployment to monitoring—while helping us implement best practices in MLOps and experimentation.

About You

You approach machine learning as a practical craft. You’re comfortable in complexity, but you always focus on what delivers value. You’ve led teams, shipped models, and you’re excited about the opportunity to shape something still growing.

Your strengths likely include:

• 6+ years in data science or machine learning, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong technical foundation: Python, SQL,
  - learn, Py
  Torch, XGBoost, etc.
• Experience across core ML use cases: forecasting, recommendation, segmentation, etc.
• Familiar with tools like Snowflake, Looker, Airflow, and modern orchestration platforms
• Confident guiding teams and mentoring with empathy and clarity
• Clear communicator who can work across technical and
  - technical teams
• Comfortable in an agile, iterative environment—testing, learning, improving
