We are in need of a Lead Java Developer with a specialization in
- trading applications.

The chosen candidate will be required to enhance an existing suite of quant applications based on Java, which is utilized by credit traders and management around the world. In the role of Lead Java Developer, they will be involved in an
- based software development
- cycle, which includes technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews. They will also work closely with the production support team to oversee the release and upkeep of the components.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the production support team to manage the release and upkeep of the components
• Involvement in an
  - based software development
  - cycle, including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing and code reviews
• Suggesting and offering insights from experience/knowledge on the platform's architecture, design, technology choices and direction
• Overseeing a team of developers to maintain
  - level coding standards
• Creating
  - time
  - driven applications using core Java development and Java multithreading
• Contributing to the team's continuous integration and delivery practices
• Ensuring the platform caters to the needs of the credit traders and management globally

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience with Java-core
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Broad experience in algorithmic trading and financial services
• Proficiency in developing
  - time
  - driven applications
• Comprehensive understanding of concurrency, core Java development, Java multithreading, and
  - driven development practices
• Experience in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) practices
• Capability to oversee a team of developers and maintain the highest coding standards
• Fluent in English, which enables effective communication with team members and stakeholders
• Possession of strong
  - solving skills and a quick learning ability
• Capability to function as part of a globally distributed team
• Familiarity with
  - based software development life cycles
