About the job
The Lead Project Manager will play a crucial role in delivering seamless office relocation projects, ensuring business continuity and timely transitions driven by lease deadlines. Acting as the central coordinator, they will oversee governance from project inception to completion, managing technical delivery across multiple global sites. Their work will directly impact operational efficiency and team productivity!
Collaborating closely with Kantar’s Real Estate team, external vendors, and internal Tech Services colleagues, they will lead efforts across diverse workstreams, including network setup, comms room
- outs, audiovisual systems, access control, and desktop transitions. Their expertise will ensure cohesive teamwork and successful integration of infrastructure within the wider Corporate Real Estate Programme. This is a dynamic role requiring technical proficiency and strong leadership to align project goals with the organisation’s strategic vision.
Job Goals
Deliver successful office relocation projects within the wider Mercia Programme, ensuring timely transitions and minimal disruptions.
Oversee the design and implementation of all workstreams, collaborating with architects and
- party vendors to ensure project alignment.
Develop and maintain key project artefacts, including business cases, plans, status reports, and CRAID logs, to ensure transparent tracking of progress.
Manage complex dependencies, resolve blockers, and mitigate risks while maintaining control over project budgets and timelines.
Engage and coordinate with diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all levels of the organisation.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Act as the primary technical contact for office relocation projects, ensuring seamless integration of all technical systems and services
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Demonstrated expertise in leading complex office relocation projects, with a focus on seamless integration of technical infrastructure.
Proven ability to design and implement
- scale infrastructure solutions supporting Real Estate Programmes, including network setup, audiovisual systems, and access control.
Strong proficiency in managing project artefacts such as business cases, CRAID logs, and budget reporting to ensure transparent and effective project delivery.
Experience working in dynamic, matrixed environments with competing priorities, showcasing the ability to resolve blockers and mitigate risks effectively.
Specialist knowledge of methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2, complemented by skills in influencing and aligning diverse stakeholder groups towards shared goals.
