This software development role will incorporate the design, development, coding, testing, and implementation phases. If you have extensive experience in this field and are looking for a development opportunity in a global organization, we would be interested in hearing from you.
How you create impact
- Be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements definition through realization to demo and product delivery.
- Work closely with the business department to find technical and functional solutions for new feature requests and improvements.
- Contribute to the active development of the whole product team. Identify and propose changes to improve the Development Process.
- You will develop Java- and Angular-based internal digital products within the global Ocean Schedule Portfolio (Web/Desktop), write clean code, and take responsibility for the quality and
- term maintainability of the developed software. You will also work collaboratively on the definition, specification, and design of modular and integrated software products, as well as implement automated tests for your code.
What we would like you to bring
- Academic degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years as a successful
- stack developer with expertise in Java, Spring
Boot (REST APIs), Hibernate, Docker, Open
Shift, Jenkins/Git
Lab CI, Git
Hub/Git
Lab, Kafka/Rabbit
MQ, and SQL/No
SQL databases. - Proven experience technically leading small to medium software development teams in agile environments, acting as the key driver of development strategy.
- Strong
- oriented programming skills and a passion for pragmatic,
- impact IT solutions. - Solid
- end experience with Angular, Java
Script, Type
Script, and Ng
Rx. - Bonus points for knowledge of AWS, API Gateways, microservice architectures, and Dev
Ops practices. - Supportive and mentoring mindset, eager to grow individually and as part of a dynamic, evolving team.
