Applications built with DAF support structured digitisation of local information, they provide direct utility to various groups (e. G. NGOs, small businesses, local banks), can be efficiently repurposed to various use cases, and specifically preserve the digital rights of their users.

  Datastake Information Exchange Platform
  
  facilitating the granular exchange of information across users of Datastake applications, as well as their integration with
  - party systems. The Platform will extend the value chain of existing information, through standard, granular data mapping, and
  - grained privacy/sovereignty permissions for information stranded in private databases.

Datastake has already built several applications and our clients are companies and
- profits operating around mining and mineral trade, using
- made tools to organise their available knowledge into structured data, facilitate their work, raise their profile, and attract funding. Some examples:

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Lead Software Engineer - Impact Tech. The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing
- end web development solutions, leading software development projects, and ensuring the application of
- oriented programming principles. Daily tasks will involve collaborating with
- functional teams, coding, code reviews, debugging, and contributing to software architecture decisions.

The Lead Engineer will:

• Lead the technology, architecture, workflow and design decisions for the Datastake Platform.
• Coordinate development of the Datastake Framework and new client applications.
• Partner and coordinate with internal and external engineering teams.
• Build and manage development and production environments.
• Ensure data pipelines are robust and supported with CI/CD abilities.
• Ensure the Datastake ecosystem remains at the frontier of distributed data protocols, evaluating agentic orchestration for data exchange and value attribution.
• Conceive and implement AI-accelerated engineering practices:

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong foundation in Computer Science
• Experience in
  - and
  - end web development (
  
  Reactjs, Nestjs)
  
  , data engineering, software development
• Proficiency in Programming languages and software development tools
• Excellent
  - solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a distributed team
• Database experience with Mongo
  DB and Neo4j (or other property graph database).
• Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools and ability to integrate them into team workflows.
• Experience orchestrating LLM-powered microservices/agents for business logic automation.
• Ability to work autonomously, under remote conditions at times
• Perfect handling of the English language – unlike some of us.
