Lead Software Engineer


Help us achieve our goal of becoming the leading global provider of customer acquisition and engagement services within payments! Client is looking for a Senior/Lead Software Engineer – Technical Advisor to join our Marketing Services Technology team to drive the future of Marketing Services as a
- driven,
- service performance marketing agency. This role supports global media initiatives including
- gen digital diagnostics, Mar
Tech, Ad insight and sales acceleration solutions, the application of agentic AI, and integrations across the CA&E program. You will leverage your experience in these areas or comparable knowledge to help advise, design, implement, and optimize marketing technology solutions that enable
- driven execution. Your work will play a key role in supporting business growth and improving results for financial institutions, merchants, or acquiring customers. The role bridges consulting, marketing strategy and technical execution, ensuring seamless integration of data, platforms and tools across the marketing ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities


  • Work with
    - program Product and Tech teams to identify functional and system requirements to support the development of tools and platforms that improve media performance and automate processes for complex,
    - channel marketing campaigns. Specific examples of partners include product managers and vendors, full stack and data engineers, architects, and UI developers.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise for architecting new platform capabilities to build highly available,
    - scale and
    - tolerant platforms.
  • Advise on
    - and
    - term use cases and interoperability for 3rd party software and tools, giving our clients diverse tools to manage and analyze digital advertising.
  • Be responsible for assessing technologies and approaches for integrating backend data services with user interfaces.
  • Design & develop REST APIs and web services using Java, Spring Boot and other emerging technologies.
  • Familiar with Client technical review processes and tools.
  • Understand complex application data flows and bridge the gap between technical and business requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Be skilled at architecting large and complex distributed platforms and confident in communicating solutions to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Have strong digital marketing automation, data flows, marketing technology (Mar
    Tech), or Ad
    Tech consulting experience or product ownership; Or, related engineering experience designed for payments or other financial services sectors.
  • Have excellent tech consulting, oral and written communication skills.
  • Be
    - on with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices (REST API).
  • Familiar with Client's technical review processes such as So
    AR
    , E&AR , and Biz
    Ops Third Party reviews
    , and Client's security and privacy standards .
  • Familiar with Modern Web Development in React and/or Angular (2+), Node
    JS, Graph
    QL etc.
  • Familiar with Big Data / Analytics technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scala.
  • Experience working with
    - time or near
    - time data ingestion.
  • Understand procedures for onboarding applications to Client's portals like MCC and MBI and possess knowledge of FSSO configuration .
  • Familiar with processes for setting up domains for
    - hosted solutions. Knowledge of Client's tools such as API Gateway , NGFT , and File Transfer Services is advantageous.
  • Understand Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Event Driven design (EDD).
  • Build and govern automated quality framework based on JUnit and Mockito and have a solid understanding of BDD testing framework.
  • Understand CI/CD using tools like Jenkins.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Marketing technology, MBA with media specialization or comparable experience.
  • Passionate about
    - centric design and delivering impactful, scalable solutions.
