The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you will solve complex problems, identify potential future issues across platforms and services, and work with some of the world's biggest clients. You will manage systems data, provide solutions and security compliance, and oversee assignment queues, collaborating with technicians to deliver optimal solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work across various industries, from banking to retail, and to develop expertise in modernization, cloud platforms, and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Manage Storage (NAS, Block) and SAN fabrics infrastructures (Hitachi, HPE, IBM, Net
  App, Brocade, CISCO)
• Assist clients in defining architectures by supporting new infrastructure implementations
• Develop scripting and automation solutions
• Maintain, configure, tune, and update Disk/SAN systems
• Monitor storage infrastructures and SAN fabrics for availability, capacity, and forecasting
• Ensure systems compliance with security policies
• Respond to incidents and service requests via ticketing tools
• Perform hardware installation and cabling at Kyndryl Data Centers
• Provide 24x7 prevention services, with possible travel to data centers

• Supporting architecture definition, implementation, and support
• Scripting and automation development
• Maintenance, configuration, tuning, and updates of Disk/SAN systems
• Monitoring of storage and SAN infrastructures
• Compliance with security policies
• Incident and request response management
• Hardware activities at Kyndryl Data Centers
• Availability for 24x7 prevention services, with potential travel
