Lead Verification Engineer

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Verification Engineer to join their team in Lisbon. This full‑time hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital verification and a passion for ensuring design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing verification plans based on design specifications
• Creating testbenches and test cases using System
  Verilog/UVM or equivalent tools
• Performing simulations and debugging design issues in collaboration with design teams
• Conducting functional, regression, and coverage testing to ensure design correctness
• Analyzing coverage metrics and enhancing test cases to meet verification goals
• Documenting test procedures, results, and tracking issues through resolution

Qualifications

• A BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electronics, Automation, or related software disciplines
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in digital verification, with expertise in UVM/System
  Verilog or Specman/e
• Strong background in digital electronics and ASIC/FPGA design
• Proficiency in system architecture, including processor architecture
• Experience debugging Gate‑Level Simulations (GLS) and timing closure
• Solid understanding of C/C++ and familiarity with scripting tools such as Python, Perl, or Tcl
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
