We are seeking a Lead [dot]NET Developer to join our team at a leading European bank.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing software development life cycle processes. You will leverage your expertise to influence architecture and technology choices while guiding a talented team.

Please note that work from the customer office 2 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage software development life cycle processes and lead teams
• Provide insights on architecture, design, and technology direction
• Implement
  - driven development and continuous integration practices
• Collaborate with business analysts, quality assurance, and product support teams
• Drive technology choices based on industry best practices
• Ensure adherence to banking regulations and standards
• Analyze requirements and propose effective solutions
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in [dot]NET development
• Over 1 year of leadership experience managing development teams
• Background in investment banking projects
• Expertise in C# programming language
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Knowledge of
  - driven development principlesand continuous integration practices
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
