Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering the syllabus for the course, fitting the ‘active learning’ pedagogy promoted by Forward College.
• Designing and implementing the flipped classroom sessions throughout the academic year.
• Designing three formative assessments to support students in achieving learning outcomes throughout the academic year.
• Organising and providing
  -
  - one tutoring sessions to students (20 minutes per student), on a minimum of two occasions for each course.

Your profile / Qualifications

• Passion for teaching and engaging students, curiosity about new ways of teaching, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to interact well with an international student body and staff.
• A strong interest in emerging technologies and trends.
• A passion for teaching and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
• Excellent level of English.

Details

Part-time: 2 groups with each 22 hours of teaching and 7. 5 hours of tutoring

Location: Lisbon, Forward College Learning Center (Bairro Alto)

The appointment is for a
- term contract (recibo verde) to teach the courses mentioned above with 2 groups. Additional teaching will be available in subsequent academic years to accommodate growing student numbers.
