Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice, particularly in the areas of financial law (to real estate alternative investment funds and the management company), real estate law, commercial law, and transactional matters (share and asset deals).
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.
- Conduct
- depth legal research and prepare clear and precise legal opinions. - Monitor legislative developments and ensure the implementation of new rules and regulations applicable to the company’s activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external legal advisors to ensure the legal compliance of projects and transactions.
- Provide legal support and advice to the various departments of the companies.
Requirements:
- Law degree with valid registration with the Portuguese Bar Association.
- Minimum of 2 years’
- internship experience as a lawyer in relevant areas such as Real Estate Law, Commercial Law, M&A, and Financial Law (management of real estate collective investment schemes). - Strong knowledge of the Portuguese legal system and relevant practice areas.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to analyse and interpret legislation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- High level of responsibility and professional ethics.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
This is a Lisbon-based hybrid role (3 days per week in the office are expected).
