About The Role

We are looking for a driven and ambitious
- level lawyer to join our international Legal Team, with a focus on supporting Fever’s operations in Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions.

As Legal Counsel, Commercial General, you will have (or develop) diverse legal skills and a great gut instinct in negotiating, reviewing, and finalizing commercial contracts, working as a business partner with regional business leads to enable Fever’s continued growth as a leading entertainment platform.

This role will entail:

• Drafting / revising Portuguese and English language commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP submission documentation, and similar legal documents
• Supporting commercial teams in the negotiation of deals and documents
• Researching legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritize and manage legal matters
• Assisting and participating in knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal, including by identifying the need for and participating in preparation of templates, guides, processes, and similar documents and tools
• Participating in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as required
• Upskilling, support, and growth of other team members

In order to be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a practicing lawyer with 5+ years of
  - qualification experience working in a Portuguese-speaking jurisdiction.
• Professional fluency in Portuguese and English is essential, with proficiency in an additional language a strong plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
• Experience working on international projects or with global teams.
• A team player who is adaptable and eager to learn.
