JC Aircraft Maintenance is recruiting a Licenced B1 experienced Sheet Metal worker to join our skilled team in Porto, Portugal. The successful candidate will be working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair.

Role

• Aircraft body structure and parts repairs on Ryanair fleet aircraft, in accordance with the approved maintenance data and procedures
• Perform metal assembling operations such as cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting and bucking
• Use relevant equipment – bending machines, English Wheel, Flap Peening, Drill or Grinder as standard tools
• Identify suitable repair solutions and implement them according to the Maintenance Repair Manuals
• Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
• Complete the appropriate documentation
• Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Adhere to the company Health and Safety policy
• Supervise Mechanics within a team
• Other duties as assigned by management/supervisor

Requirements

• Experience in Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair
• Experience in composite repair is a plus
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• Must be an EASA Part 66 licensed B1 holder with 737NG Type Course endorsed
• 2–3 years certifying experience, preferably line maintenance
• Valid EU/EEA passport with unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience supervising/managing a team
• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible approach to working in a
  - changing environment
• Previous maintenance experience on B737 is highly desirable
• Willing to work shifts (including nights)
