Position Overview

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to join our operations team in one of our brands in Portugal (Dominios. pt). Your mission will be to ensure that our infrastructure and services are fast, secure, and reliable, both at the software and hardware level.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of Unix/Linux systems in a production environment
• Management and monitoring of critical services (web, email, databases)
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
• Supporting datacenter operations (installation, replacement, and configuration of equipment)
• Collaborating with the team to continuously improve infrastructure security, performance, and reliability

Requirements

• Proven experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of DBMS (My
  SQL)
• Experience with LAMP/LEMP stacks (including HTTP protocol)
• Understanding of email protocols and related services
• Basic hardware knowledge (servers, networking, storage) in a datacenter environment
• Basic knowledge of DNS fundamentals
• Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and basic networking concepts

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with shared hosting panels (c

• Knowledge of backup systems (R1Soft, Acronis, Veeam, Proxmox Backup Server, Jet

• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible)
