Linux Systems Administrator (Hybrid - Lisbon)

What You’ll Do

• Manage, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems across multiple environments.
• Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Ansible and other automation tools.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, networks, and applications.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and patch management procedures.
• Collaborate with development, Dev
  Ops, and security teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure improvements.
• Document system configurations, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Strong expertise in Linux (Red Hat, Cent
  OS, Ubuntu, or similar) system administration.
• Proven experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e. g. , Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix) and version control systems (e. g. , Git).
• Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash, Python) for automation and maintenance tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment.
