In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Corpay’s Portuguese operations are fully compliant with local regulatory requirements. You oversight with strategic regulatory advisory responsibilities, supporting senior stakeholders and embedding a strong compliance culture across the business. You will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Compliance (EMEA) and regularly collaborate with the Global Regulatory Compliance team, Risk, Legal, Product, Operations, and Senior Management# # **What you'll be doing****How We Work**As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment in Lisbon. - Assigned workspace in the local office - Company-issued equipment - Remote access capabilities**Role Responsibilities**- Acting as the primary compliance officer for Corpay’s Portuguese operations - Ensuring compliance with Portuguese and EU regulatory requirements, including ACPR, AMF, Mi
FID II, PSD2, AML/CTF regulations, and GDPR - Maintaining, reviewing, and updating compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to reflect evolving regulatory requirements - Supporting regulatory reporting obligations and liaising directly with Portuguese regulators as required - Providing compliance input into Board and senior management reporting - Serving as the appointed MLRO for Portugal, receiving, investigating, and submitting suspicious transaction reports (STRs) to Unidade de Informação Financeira (UIF) where appropriate - Overseeing AML/CTF monitoring systems and ensuring timely, accurate, and effective
- Conducting AML/CTF risk assessments and ensuring controls remain effective and proportionate - Acting as the key point of contact for regulatory inspections and audits related to AML/CTF - Supporting the implementation of
