About the Job

The Loan Trading Middle Office provides daily operational support to the Sales and Trading desks by ensuring the processing of primary and secondary loan trades, loan TRS, and related funding and documentation matters.

Your Main Activities

• Work closely with the sales & trading desk, clients, legal counsel, and operations teams to settle primary, secondary, and distressed loan trades for US and UK desks.
• Create trades in Clear
  Par and confirm their details.
• Coordinate with counterparts and administrative agents to review and execute all trade documents necessary for closing within LSTA/LMA timeframes.
• Monitor trader positions and manage a high volume of loan closings, updating the status for each trade and performing reconciliations; escalating potential delays in settlement.
• Prepare and review LSTA/LMA standard documents including Trade Confirms, Assignment Agreements, Participation Agreements, Multilateral Agreements, and Purchase Sales Agreements for distressed trades.
• Review and interpret Credit Agreements and Amendments to ensure understanding of terms and conditions for both LSTA and LMA.
• Prepare and review pricing prior to settlement according to LSTA/LMA definitions, and assemble closing packages for BPSS.
• Report status of unsettled trades and key risk indicators to management on a weekly basis.
• Monitor and apply corporate events for both unsettled and settled trades, reporting status to management on a weekly basis.
• Investigate and resolve closing and transactional breaks/issues in a timely manner, improving processes through spreadsheets, pivot tables, and macros to automate workflows.

Profile and Skills to Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Up to 2 years of experience in banking and financial operations.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Client‑focused, resilient, and analytical.
• Ability to collaborate.
• Ability to deliver.
