Base pay range

Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI research organization on a multilingual project. The goal is to expand AI tutor capabilities by creating and annotating multilingual prompts, rubrics, and responses across Indonesian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Overview

Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI research organization on a multilingual project. The goal is to expand AI tutor capabilities by creating and annotating multilingual prompts, rubrics, and responses across Indonesian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate prompts, rubrics, and AI responses for multilingual tutoring use cases
• Identify
  - solving prompts and design
  - prompt rubrics to evaluate accuracy of answers and explanations
• Review and QA annotations according to provided guidelines

Ideal Qualifications

• Fluency in at least one of the following: Indonesian (Indonesia), Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil)
• Advanced academic background (Master’s degree or higher preferred), in STEM or
  - STEM fields
• Strong skills in annotation, translation, and academic writing
• Experience with
  - solving content design and evaluation rubrics

More About the Opportunity

• Remote and asynchronous — contractors can set their own schedules
• Expected time commitment: 10–20 hours/week
• Pilot project duration: 9/12-9/16, with potential expansion into additional languages and tasks
• Experts will be evaluated on trial quality and turnaround time for future project inclusion

Compensation & Contract Terms

• Competitive hourly rate (exact range to be shared during contracting)
• Payments made for services rendered, via Stripe Connect
• Independent contractor engagement
