Logistics Manager PT Porto

To support our growth we are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager (m/f)- Porto.

The Challenge:

• Manage Warehouse, Fleet and other logistic Teams for Portugal;
• Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost;
• Guarantee stock availability on Unilabs operations;
• Improve efficiency on stock levels, transportation routes and team productivity;
• Partner and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
• Manager 3PL provider and corresponding logistics to ensure seamless
  -
  - end customer experience;
• Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction and financial commitments are met;
• Follow-up on performance metrics to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements;
• Implement an agile and continuous inventory process;
• Manage and develop logistics staff as appropriate;
• Create and manage logistics budgets;
• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems;
• Drive the overall operational growth plan as part of the broader Unilabs growth strategy;
• Manage the Unilabs service vehicle fleet;
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation.

The Ideal Fit:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations logistics, business administration, transportation or engineering;
• 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse or transportation operations;
• Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business and management principals;
• Strong team player;
• Ability to manage, coach and provide training for direct reports;
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills;
• Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software;
• Very good command of English.
