The Logistics Specialist will manage logistics activities to meet business fulfillment requirements while reducing transportation costs. Responsibilities include managing outbound domestic and international logistics for clients, collecting shipment details, providing support and consulting, and obtaining competitive transportation rates.

Qualifications

• Route cargo according to legal and customer requirements.
• Coordinate routing process, contract rates, spot quotes, select carriers, tender cargo, and supply all pertinent documentation (carrier, shipper, broker, consignee).
• Proactive issue resolution and shipment responsibility.
• Accurately issue shipping documentation such as certificates of origin, customs invoices, packing lists, and certificates of insurance.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, shippers, consignees, clients, and internal teams.
• Contract external logistics service providers for route & port surveys.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, permitting, over‑dimensional and hazardous cargo.
• Maintain online tracking and metrics tools.
• Track and resolve freight claims.
