Machine Learning Engineer / AI Specialist (f/m/div. ) role at Bosch Home Comfort Portugal, Braga. Employment type: Full-time. Start date: By agreement. Local: Braga, Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop machine learning models (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning) and deep learning architectures to solve complex business problems.
• Build
  -
  - end data pipelines, including data collection, preprocessing, and model deployment.
• Implement mathematical and statistical techniques (e. g. , linear/logistic regression, time series analysis,
  - boosting) effectively and accurately.
• Stay up to date with the latest ML/DL research, frameworks, and tools and incorporate relevant advancements into workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into production environments.
• Perform error analysis and refinements to ensure high performance and reliability of models.
• Document processes, architectures, and best practices to maintain clarity across teams.

Your profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; Ph. D. a plus.
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
• Experience building and deploying ML models (regression, classification, clustering) and deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, transformers).
• Proficiency in programming languages used in ML/DL (Python, R, C++); experience with Tensor
  Flow, Py
  Torch, or
  - learn.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices (Git, testing, CI, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for ML deployment and data storage.
• Strong
  - solving skills and ability to work with complex domains to deliver impactful solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and
  - technical stakeholders.
