About the Role

AI Team is seeking an exceptional individual to design and develop next‑generation AI systems that enhance traveler experience. This role leads projects across NLP, recommendation, topic detection, and other AI applications to help Tripadvisor offer the most relevant travel products to millions of users daily.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with senior team members to design, implement, and deploy machine learning models and systems.
• Participate in all stages of the machine learning development lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model evaluation and deployment.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into machine learning solutions.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing machine learning pipelines and infrastructure.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in machine learning and share knowledge with the team.

Who You Are

• You are a machine learning engineer with experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• You have a solid understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms, and hands‑on experience using generative AI to solve real‑world problems.
• You possess strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
• You excel at communicating technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• You thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Py
  Torch, Tensor
  Flow, Jax, spa
  Cy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers, Lang
  Graph, etc.
• Experience with generative AI models, prompt engineering, model tuning, and LLM/AI agents.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and NLP.
• Hands‑on experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, version control, collaborative workflows, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
