Overview

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing
- edge machine learning algorithms and models. Your primary responsibility will be to design and build scalable machine learning systems that can handle large datasets in
- time. This position is based in Faro, Portugal, and is a contract role with no accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models for various applications
2. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
3. Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning systems
4. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of machine learning
5. Test, evaluate, and optimize models to ensure high performance and accuracy
6. Work with large datasets to train and
   - tune machine learning models
7. Troubleshoot issues related to model performance or data quality
8. Communicate complex technical concepts to
   - technical stakeholders

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
4. Experience with deep learning frameworks like Tensor
   Flow or Py
   Torch
5. Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques and algorithms
6. Familiarity with data mining techniques and tools
7. Ability to work independently and in a team setting
8. Excellent
   - solving skills with attention to detail
9. Biometric passport is required for this position

Additional Details:

• Salary: $1100 per month, contract role
• Location: Faro, Portugal. Candidates must have authorization to work in Portugal.
