Ocean Infinity is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll transform
-

- art machine learning models into scalable, reliable, and maintainable services. You'll work at the intersection of software engineering, Dev
Ops, and applied ML, enabling our AI products to have
- world impact—especially in maritime and robotic operations.

What will you do:

• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to integrate machine learning models into products and services;
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models in production environments;
• Manage and improve the infrastructure and tooling to accelerate model development and experimentation;
• Develop backend services (e. g. , REST APIs) that expose ML capabilities, ensuring scalability and efficiency in production environments;
• Set up automated CI/CD pipelines for ML projects, including testing, validation, and rollback mechanisms;
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in MLOps, ML infrastructure, and scalable AI deployments.

Who you are:

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field;
• Experienced writing production quality code in Python, including dependency management (Poetry or uv) and testing frameworks (pytest);
• Experienced with the engineering concepts of some of popular Machine Learning libraries (Tensor
  Flow, Py
  Torch), platforms (MLflow, Weights and Biases) and orchestrators (Airflow, Metaflow);
• Experienced with CI/CD systems (i. e. Azure Pipelines, Argo
  CD);
• Proficient in building and maintaining APIs (Fast
  API, Flask) and familiar with documentation tools (Swagger/Open
  API);
• Familiar with containerization tools like docker;
• Knowledge of core AI/ML techniques;
• Experience working with modern monitoring system observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry);
• Hands-on experience in developing infrastructure as code with Terraform;
• Experience in working with JIRA and Confluence in an Agile environment;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment;
• Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious;
• Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;
• Open and receptive to new and different ideas;
• Experience with Kubernetes (ideally AKS);
• Prior experience speeding up and reducing GPU memory requirements for large deep learning models during training and inference (Nvidia Triton Server);
• Experience creating LLM-based agents and workflows (Langchain);
• Experience with
  - driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka, Rabbit
  MQ.

Salary for this position: Up to €50, 000 per annum

Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
