Drive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic,
- driven individual to join as Maintenance Team Leader at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Key Accountabilities

1. Coordinate the activities of the team members including the assignment of tasks and maintenance objectives
2. Lead, motivate and support the development of team members
3. Train new members on safety rules in the operation of equipment, preventive and corrective maintenance
4. Monitor the maintenance work carried out by the team
5. Supervise work carried out by external entities, when needed
6. Facilitate efficient and open communication within the department and with other departments
7. Conduct daily meetings with team members and facilitate communication between shifts focusing on maintenance interventions and KPIs
8. Provide technical assistance on mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic equipment, programming, robotics, laser equipment, traceability, etc.
9. Assist with the reception of new equipment (installation, validation,
   - up)
10. Perform diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance
11. Perform maintenance services including repairs, replacements, and adjustments according to law DL 50/2005
12. Conduct preventive maintenance tailored to specific equipment types
13. Test equipment before and after interventions, take corrective actions if necessary, and suggest improvements
14. Diagnose defect causes and implement corrective actions
15. Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, conservation, storage, and control of all materials and equipment
16. Document maintenance and improvement activities
17. Guide operators on proper equipment use
18. Support and implement production techniques like Visual Support, 5S, etc.
19. Lead and participate in
    - solving activities
20. Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality, and productivity standards
21. Follow organizational rules, internal regulations, and the Code of Ethics
22. Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness
23. Respect environmental policies
24. Perform other tasks as necessary for the service needs

Education & Experience

1. Specialized training in mechanics, electromechanics, electronics, industrial maintenance, automation, programming, robotics, laser, traceability, or related fields
2. Previous experience in a similar role is valued
3. Knowledge of
   - solving techniques (5W, Ishikawa, PDCA, 8D) is preferred
4. Solid knowledge of machine operation (mechanics, pneumatics, electronics, electricity, etc. ) and test equipment
5. Ability to interpret machine and electrical schematics
6. Knowledge of automotive industry standards
7. Computer literacy from a user perspective
8. Experience with
   - line production and testing in the automotive industry is valued
9. Conflict management skills
10. Decision-making ability
11. Results-oriented attitude
12. Interpersonal communication skills
13. Fluent in English
14. Willingness to undergo training abroad in Portugal
