Drive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic,
- driven individual to join as Maintenance Technician at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide technical assistance to production equipment’s on mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic equipment, programming, robotics.
- Technically assist the reception of new equipment (validation, installation and
- up) - Perform maintenance services corrective, preventive, predictive and inspection activities
- Diagnose the causes of defects of machine malfunction and take the necessary corrective actions
- Ensure the maintenance, cleaning, conservation, storage and control of all material, appliances, and equipment
- Responsible for elaborating documentation
- level maintenance, creating LOTO templates, preventive maintenance, maintenance instructions, and updating schematics and drawings - Support other departments in implementing Visual Support and 5S methodologies within the organization
- Participate in problem solving activities
- Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards
- Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule
- Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
- Respect and comply with environmental policy rules
- Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service
- Shift Weekend 6H-18H (saturday & sunday)
Education & Experience
- Academic Background
- Mechanics, electromechanics, electronics, electrical, industrial maintenance, automation, programming, robotics or similar
- Professional Experience (Years and area)
- Previous experience in a similar role will be valued preferred in automotive industry
- Hard Skills (ex Excel, …)
- Solid knowledge of the operation of machines (mechanics, pneumatics, electronics, electricity, test equipment)
- Previous experience in laser welding, test machines, screwing, surface mount technology, circuit board assembly is a plus
- Interpretation of mechanical, pneumatics and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards
- Fluent in English is a plus
