The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance tasks involving HVAC Systems, Greenhouses, Manufacturing equipment, and general site improvements. This function is essential to ensure the reliability of the equipment and compliance with GACP (Good Agricultural Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on cultivation, trimming, drying, extraction, and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, thermal production, and HVAC systems to reduce operational interruptions.
- Calibration & Qualification Support: Assist with equipment calibration and qualification activities in GACP/GMP areas.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in improvement projects and contribute to root cause analysis for equipment failures.
- Documentation: Accurately record all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols at all times.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Experience in industrial maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with Maintenance Management platforms and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Goal‑oriented and focused on achieving objectives.
- Basic knowledge of English.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office efficiently.
