Maitre d'Hotel (f/m/d) Albufeira

The newly renovated Hapimag Resort Albufeira in Portugal is just a few steps from the sandy beach and a 10-minute drive from the city of Albufeira, on the Algarve. It features 213 holiday apartments, a restaurant, a bar, an indoor pool, a sauna, an outdoor pool, and various sports facilities.

Our resort is looking for an
- minded and
- orientated person to join the catering department as Maitre d’ Hotel, a committed, friendly and excellent personality.

What you can expect

• Guest service in our restaurant
• Mise en place of the restaurant
• Carrying out the various billing or collection processes
• Responsible for compliance with all service standards and processes
• Compliance with all hygiene and HACCP standards
• Coordination of the team and all shifts
• Ensuring customer service and satisfaction
• Setting standards in the sales areas
• Training and further education of service staff

What you bring along

• Completed training in gastronomy or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience
• Very good German and English skills
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Empathy and improvisation talent
• Sound knowledge of special service techniques directly at the guest’s table, including flambéing, filleting, carving, and decanting.
