Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire forecasting and budgeting process for the EMEA region and ensure strategic alignment.
• Analyze the product mix, pricing, cost structures, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks early on.
• Present complex information in an easily understandable way and create dashboards, KPIs, and financial reports for management.
• Work closely with international stakeholders—from controllers to department heads—and ensure consistent financial planning.
• Optimize forecast models, automate reports, and support the integration of SAP S/4HANA and Power BI.
• Review business cases, challenge assumptions, and provide management with sound decision‑making tools.
• Ensure smooth month‑end and year‑end closing processes within the region.
• Actively drive the further development of reporting structures and the digital transformation in finance.
• Coordinate cost allocations and intercompany reconciliations in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling or Finance
• 5–8 years of professional experience in FP&A or Controlling, ideally in the B2B software or technology sector
• Experience in an international financial environment, ideally across multiple companies
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO) – knowledge of SAP Group Reporting is a plus
• Solid understanding of financial consolidation, variance analysis, and planning models
• Quickly recognize economic relationships and translate them into operational measures
• Confident demeanor, effective communication with managers, and enjoyment of working in an international team
• Structured, entrepreneurial thinking, and proactive action
• Fluent in both German and English
