Manager GBS Continuous Improvement
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Continuous Improvement will drive process optimization across GBS Centers, supporting the development and prioritization of initiatives based on business impact, customer experience, and efficiency. This role is integral to Adidas' 2025 strategy.
The person will collaborate with CI Governance senior management and Center CI leads on methodology/framework development and implementation. They will also lead the center's continuous improvement team, working with other GBS organizations on ESSA projects, coaching, and replication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build Adidas' own CI approach in collaboration with the Global CI Hub.
- Create frameworks for all workstreams on CI methodology, promoting an agile and efficient way of working.
- Support workstreams and TOP AREAs in identifying ESSA opportunities (Elimination, Simplification, Standardization, Automation).
- Deliver operational efficiencies, process standardization, and harmonization.
- Coach on Lean Six Sigma and process
- engineering projects for successful implementation. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement within Adidas.
- Develop a continuous improvement training program and leverage the TTT program for training delivery.
- Design and promote CI events effectively.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- At least 5 years of experience in

- end process improvement or standardization in Finance, HR, or Procurement. - Extensive practical experience with CI methodologies such as LEAN, DFSS, DMAIC; SPSS modeling is preferred.
- Deep understanding of E2E processes in Global Business Services.
- Strategic thinking, complex problem synthesis, and innovative solution development skills.
- Proven ability to guide and coach operational teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
- Strong data analysis and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of SAP FI and CO is a plus.
- Virtual team management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or business administration.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
