Manager, Product Management, Acceptance Commercialisation
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with strong leadership and commercial skills, combined with a keen entrepreneurial mindset, to develop and deliver on the Global commercialisation plans for the strategically important Payment Passkeys product. Mastercard Payment Passkeys are a key part of executing on Mastercard’s vision to Reimagine Online checkout – greatly enhancing the online checkout experience for consumers with the introduction of biometrics. The successful candidate will need to be able to evaluate and assess opportunities for scaling payment passkeys Globally and at pace, working across a multitude of global and regional stakeholders to build out a commercialisation plan and direction for the product as well as synthesise and scale best practice across the globe. Passkeys is in a pilot stage; so being able to work with Product teams to help understand and react to customer feedback and prioritise product development based on an understanding of ‘what it will take to scale’ is a key attribute for the role.

Role
In this role, the candidate will have shared responsibility for achieving the key performance indicators for the product and is primarily responsible for executing a strategy that scales Payment Passkeys as rapidly as possible. This includes:
Responsibilities
- Become a global expert on the product, understand the strategy behind its development and its role in Mastercard Authentication and Reimagining Online checkout strategies.
- Develop, own, maintain and manage the

- market and expansion plan for payment passkeys for the Acceptance side of our business. Work across Global, Regional, Acceptance and Product teams to translate product vision into a realizable plan based on strong commercial insight. - Collaborate with global and regional teams to synthesize customer learnings and pain points. Inform the product development roadmap to ensure the overall value proposition is robust, focusing on developments that will make the most commercial difference and enable faster scaling.
- Build out and refine the positioning and role Passkeys will play within our wider Authentication strategy and its impact on products such as Click to Pay and Secure Card on File.
- Support Senior management in understanding the product's performance, identifying obstacles, and devising actionable solutions to overcome them.
- Lead and manage required reporting for the product including KPI identification, management and monitoring.
- Manage the business review/highlights process with global product leads and regional teams as required.
- Understand challenges and barriers to scaling across customer, technical, and regulatory areas, articulate issues and recommend a path forward.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the product, offering support to internal and external customers with communication and training on features and enhancements. This could include supporting direct discussions with some customers.
- Take a
- driven approach to product development, identifying opportunity areas, contributing to the product roadmap, and influencing development to deliver against key focus areas. - Oversee the creation and development of materials to drive Passkey education and awareness internally and externally to Acceptance Partners.
- Refine thought leadership assets, events, and initiatives to drive Passkey adoption based on customer needs and evolving competitive landscape.
- Support regional development of robust customer pipelines to scale Passkey transactions and provide what Product teams need to develop Passkey successfully.
- Incorporate an understanding of the broader payment ecosystem into ongoing product management (regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, etc. ).
- Leverage knowledge of Mastercard business, systems, products and customer requirements in
- based business and product decisions.
All About You
- Demonstrate experience launching and commercializing a product with strong business acumen, ideally from within the payments industry.
- Collaborated
- functionally, preferably globally, to deliver significant work. - Strong interpersonal abilities with a proven track record in building relationships in a virtual environment to deliver tangible outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences.
- Ability to leverage data for reports and analyses and to craft compelling narratives that convey insights.
- Familiarity with collaborating with merchants, payment service providers, and payment gateways.
