From our core products that are at the heart of everyday commerce to our newest solutions in digital, security, networks and services, Customer Solutions Architects play a vital role in driving influence and revenue for Mastercard. This Client-facing position requires the ability to translate technology into business impact, communicate with executives and engineers, and architect outcomes. The role focuses on growing and developing Mastercard’s Products and Solutions in Portugal by collaborating with Account Managers and Business Development teams to deepen existing customer relationships, while identifying new opportunities and partners to grow and diversify our business.
In This Client-facing Position, You Will
- Act as the market expert on Mastercard products, benefits and solutions
- Collaborate with the Account Manager and the Business Development team in Portugal to present Mastercard products, conduct gap analyses, and develop appropriate solutions for prospects
- Work with the CSC lead to define

- market strategy, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute and manage key strategic initiatives - Evaluate business cases, new business models, agreements and partnerships to improve solution footprint and competitiveness
- Lead market analysis and translate insights into product and

- market strategies - Drive new product revenue
- Prepare management presentations
- Recommend
- based solutions with Product, Innovation, Services and Marketing - Support RFP responses / creation of value propositions for account opportunities
- Provide input to product/solution groups and segment leads to align product/solution and segment strategy with customer needs
All About You
- Experience executing business development across different payment types, technologies, and customer segments
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Experience managing
- level relationships and translating strategies into action - Knowledge of payment solutions and the Portuguese payment ecosystem
- Understanding of technical basics, APIs, and process flows
- Ability to understand business, market context and customer needs to drive integrated and innovative solutions
Experiences And Other Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A problem solver who understands customer challenges and can simplify complexity
- Ability to collaborate across a highly
- functional environment and deliver results - High
- motivation and autonomy; customer and results orientation - Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional European languages are a plus
- Knowledge of card payment and/or Mastercard payment solutions is a plus
- Master degree / Engineering or Business School / MBA
