About the Role

We are seeking a Marine Engineer to join our Lisbon-based design team. This role focuses on the design of machinery systems for vessels, including propulsion systems. You will work closely with colleagues across all OSK offices – not limited to any single market – and with our engineering and project teams to deliver
- quality solutions for international maritime projects.

The role includes:

• Occasional travel to our offices in Denmark and to clients or shipyards worldwide.
• Possibility of occasional home working to support flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machinery systems for newbuild and retrofit projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, including system diagrams and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with classification society rules and IMO regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices to integrate machinery systems into overall vessel design.
• Support project execution from concept through detailed design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in marine engineering, preferably with experience in the design of machinery systems.
• Seagoing experience as an engineer officer is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (Auto
  CAD, Rhino, or similar).
• Strong understanding of classification standards and maritime regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
