Job Purpose
Within the Corporate Insight Department of the Marketing Strategy Division, the Market Intelligence Associate gathers data, conducts research, and provides analysis related to the industry and markets where Fujitsu operates. The role focuses on market trends and competitive landscape analysis to inform Fujitsu’s strategic positioning. The role supports Business Units and Regional strategies, requiring a proactive individual with strong analytical skills capable of translating complex data into actionable insights. The Associate reports to the Market Intelligence Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries by conducting research and preparing insightful reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support
- making by working closely with business managers across headquarters, business groups, units, and regions, providing strategic market insights. - Manage research projects from scope to delivery, working independently with limited supervision.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments by monitoring news sources, analyst reports, and thought leadership, integrating this knowledge into strategic insights and competitive analysis.

- Number of reports delivered
- Stakeholder feedback scores (NPS)
- Timeliness of inquiry responses
Required Skills and Experience
Mandatory
- At least 12 months experience in a professional Market Intelligence organization; experience in the IT market is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with analyst firms and external research providers.
- Cross-cultural and international experience.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research techniques, deriving
- oriented insights and actionable recommendations. - Critical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations, draw conclusions, and propose innovative solutions.
- Fluent English (business level proficiency).
