Job Description
Team presentation and main goal:
Market Risk is part of Natixis Risk Division. Its mandates cover Valuation, Risks, and Economic performance for the capital market activities across all business lines (mainly Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Credit, Commodities). Within Market Risk, Risk Monitoring of traded Risk is responsible for controlling, certifying, analyzing, and reporting market risk metrics and performance indicators.
Main tasks and goals:
As a Monitoring of Traded Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing and reporting quantitative Risk indicators such as sensitivities, Stress-Tests, Va

R, IRC, on a daily basis - Controlling, analyzing, and certifying these indicators, focusing on daily and intraday variations concerning set limits
- Producing P&Ls including economic, actual, hypothetical, and theoretical risk P&Ls, along with explanations
- Controlling the Client Contribution within MARPL’s scope
- Reporting economic P&L to relevant departments and stakeholders within Natixis and BPCE
- Certifying daily economic P&L and ensuring audit trail, analyzing variations
- Producing and analyzing RIM and Back Testing components
- Consolidating Risk Reports from international branches (NY, UK, APAC) and advising when necessary
- Calculating quarterly adjustments like Prudent Value Adjustment and Model Risk Components
- Producing and controlling SRAB and Volcker indicators
- Analyzing limit consumption, KPIs on Data Quality, and other metrics
- Creating dashboards for Senior Management (to be validated by P&O)
- Consolidating all Risk Reports at various levels
- Preparing support documentation for Market Risk Committees
- Producing Va
R Back testing components and exception reports - Communicating with Business Lines and Risk Managers regarding limit breaches and alerts
- Maintaining referential mappings and performing consistency checks
- Producing Regulatory Risk reports quarterly
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics
- At least 3 years of experience with asset classes such as Fixed Income, Equity, Credit, or FX
- At least 3 years of experience with derivatives products
- Advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and VBA; knowledge of Python is preferred
- Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Team player, able to work under stress, proactive
