We Are Hiring: Market Risk Reporting Officer

Location: Porto

About the Role:

At our company, we are looking for Market Risk Reporting Officers to join our Market Risk Operations team.

This team plays a key role in supporting market risk activities by ensuring the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data that feeds internal risk systems.

You will be part of the team in Portugal, focusing primarily on data quality, production of market risk inputs, KPI creation, process improvement and supporting governance committees through analysis and reporting.

What You Will Do:

The Market Risk Operations mission is fulfilled by:

• Producing and controlling data quality results for various market risk activities
• Providing Senior Management with meaningful KPIs that reflect the quality of market risk services
• Investigating and resolving data quality issues in partnership with other teams
• Streamlining, running and documenting existing processes to improve efficiency

We are seeking analysts to support the production of key metrics used in market risk reporting within our Porto office.

Main Tasks:

• Work on data quality and daily production of KPIs related to timeliness and accuracy of market risk indicators
• Investigate issues flagged by KPIs and support resolution
• Build strong relationships with risk analysts and internal stakeholders
• Contribute proactively to Agile team deliveries while collaborating closely with colleagues working on similar topics
• Provide training and support to new system users when required

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SQL (required)
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Knowledge of Python (valued)
• Understanding of financial products such as Stocks, Bonds, Swaps, Options (a strong plus)
• Familiarity with the Agile framework (appreciated)

Language Skills:

• English: Mandatory / Expert level
