Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, we are seeking a highly motivated Marketing & Event Specialist to design and execute a robust event strategy that drives demand generation and nurtures leads through a mix of
- person and online events.
As our Marketing & Event Specialist, you will be the strategic mind and operational heart behind our event experiences, shaping how Split
Metrics connects with its global audience through unforgettable moments — from
- converting webinars to impactful industry events.
Your mission is to build brand authority and fuel pipeline growth by creating events that inform, engage, and inspire mobile marketing professionals. Working
- functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams, you will own the entire event lifecycle — from concept to execution — ensuring every detail aligns with our company narrative and business goals.
UVP by EOY: Double lead generated from online and offline events across the US and EMEA. Develop and launch a repeatable, branded online event format that drives annual pipeline growth and strengthens Split
Metrics’ leadership in the App Growth market.
What will you do:
- Own the global event strategy and calendar, driving the execution of both online and offline events with a business outcome–oriented mindset.
- Develop creative event concepts that position Split
Metrics as a thought leader in the App Marketing Industry, increase engagement across key verticals, and drive attendee conversion into business opportunities. - Ensure seamless event operations by managing logistics, production, internal coordination, and external vendors. Confidently use virtual event platforms to host and moderate
- quality webinars and digital experiences. - Take full ownership of event outcomes and budgets, including cost control, fee negotiation, expense tracking, and coordination with the legal team on contracts.
- Build strong relationships with partners to
- host side events, VIP dinners, and
- branded marketing initiatives. - Measure, analyze, and report on event ROI by tracking
- sourced and
- influenced pipeline, continuously iterating to improve performance and impact. - Collaborate with the demand generation and content teams to build nurturing sequences, landing pages, promotional emails, and
- event
- up flows — all leveraging Hub
Spot.
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in event marketing or event management, with a proven track record in both digital and
- person events. - Strong proficiency with virtual event platforms and Hub
Spot for event execution, automation, lead tracking, and reporting. - Demonstrated clear ROI from events and ability to align the strategy with broader lead generation and sales goals.
- Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple events simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and delivering
- quality work under pressure. - An extroverted
- solver with a "can-do" attitude, confident in engaging directly with prospects and customers. - Fluent in English (spoken and written), with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Based in Europe and comfortable working fully remotely in a
- paced, globally distributed team. Availability to travel and attend events, if necessary. - Experience in the B2B App Growth industry is a strong plus.
Success Metrics:
- Online Event Attendance Rate: Attendance rate for online events (target ≥ 60% of registrants)
- Branded Event Format Launch: Launch of one branded online event format that contributes to repeatable pipeline growth (target = 1 by Q4)
- Event Budget Efficiency: Budget adherence across events (target ≥ 95% within approved budget)
