The Role
The Marketplace Account Manager role is critical in ensuring coverage, supply growth, and host relationship management across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Nordic markets (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland).
You will directly support the Marketplace Account Management Specialist by acquiring new hosts, onboarding them to the platform, and managing existing hosts to ensure engagement, responsiveness, and competitiveness. This role is vital for sustaining availability and revenue generation in these growth regions with fragmented supply and strong seasonal patterns.
What you’ll work on
- Identify, contact, and convert new hosts across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic markets, ensuring quality onboarding and activation.
 - Manage ongoing host relationships to maximize engagement, responsiveness, and retention.
 - Support hosts with pricing, calendar management, and performance optimization to increase bookings per listing.
 - Monitor and maintain listing competitiveness by ensuring hosts regularly update availability, rates, and content.
 - Track and analyze key acquisition and account management performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
 - Deliver excellent communication and support to hosts in English, and other Nordic languages where applicable.
 - Contribute to regional Marketplace growth targets by maintaining a strong, active, and profitable host base.
 
Who we’re looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or partner success roles within marketplaces, mobility, travel‑tech, or e‑commerce sectors.
 - Proven success in acquiring and managing partners across multiple markets, preferably in UK and Northern Europe.
 - Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional Nordic language proficiency (e. g. , Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) is a plus but not mandatory.
 - Strong commercial drive with experience managing pipelines, converting leads, and nurturing partnerships.
 - Skilled in CRM systems (e. g. , Pipedrive, Hub
Spot) and data‑driven performance reporting. - Analytical and proactive mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and take corrective actions.
 - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
 - Organized, adaptable, and self‑motivated, with strong ownership of regional objectives.
