Role: Master Data Scientist

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models (Python, R, or SAS).
• Use ML frameworks (Tensor
  Flow, Py
  Torch) to build and optimize solutions.
• Work with relational and No
  SQL databases and manage data pipelines.
• Operate in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Apply MLOps practices, including data pipelines, model operations, and governance.
• Lead data/AI projects with knowledge of Responsible AI, Data Governance, or regulated environments (valued).
• Prepare
  - level materials (QBRs, presentations, reports) and lead sessions and communities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience; Bachelor-'s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Portuguese and Spanish valued).
• Experience in the Energy & Utilities market and knowledge of GDPR (preferred).
• Strong critical thinking,
  - solving, and commitment to quality deliverables.
• Experience with data pipelines and workflow management tools.
• Experience managing data/AI projects with awareness of Responsible AI and regulatory environments (highly valued).
• Ability to prepare executive materials and lead discussions with stakeholders.
