Role and Deliverables

We are seeking a Solution Architect to design intelligent, scalable software solutions with a focus on Data, Analytics, and AI. This is a pure architecture role—not development—centered on creating
- structured solution designs, preparing clear documentation, presenting ideas to stakeholders, and collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless implementation.

You will play a key role in shaping strategic projects, particularly within the Energy & Utilities sector, and contribute to a major Data & AI program. Your primary deliverable will be a Solution Design document in Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Produce, present, and defend logical architecture solution designs with significant architectural impact to stakeholders
• Identify the need for new applications or microservices
• Design and specify APIs
• Participate in the Data & AI Big Bets program, analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and performing technical assessments of implementation proposals
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure best practices are followed, promptly resolving bottlenecks
• Key deliverable: Comprehensive Solution Design document in Confluence

Qualifications

Must-have: must be clearly listed on your CV

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in global teams

• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR regulations
• Proven experience in strategic projects
• Architecture certification (e. g. , Microsoft, Cloud)
• Ability to critically analyze business requirements and align them with the client’s reference application architecture
• Solid knowledge of architectural components and adoption of modern market trends (e. g. , microservices)
• Expertise in creating clear, structured architecture documentation
• Experience defining and enforcing governance rules
• Understanding and contribution to security architecture principles and the evolution of technological frameworks
• Ability to influence and gain
  - in for architectural principles in complex environments
• Specialization in Data, Analytics, and AI solution design (applications only, no development)
• Strong technical expertise in Data, Analytics, and AI

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• Experience in the Utilities sector, particularly retail
• Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce applications

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence
• Additional language skills: Portuguese, Spanish
