Location: On-site at stadiums within the Lisbon region
Contract: Consultant
Expected Start Date: July for training and August for Matches

What The Role Is All About:
We are recruiting Match Operations Assistants for our UEFA Football operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology as part of a dedicated team.
The role involves setting up and operating our systems at football stadiums across Europe for various competitions, including the Champions League, Europa League, and international European matches.
Work schedule:
- Setup Day: Starts around 9 am the day before the Match
- Match Day: Arrival up to 7 hours before Kick Off
- Post-match: Up to 2 hours after the game
Flexibility with work hours is required. The work is likely to be midweek, and you should refer to the UEFA calendar for fixture dates.
We will provide technical training and support. This role is a great entry point into

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities vary per match but may include:
- Setting up medical systems and tablets
- Launching and troubleshooting hardware/software
- Interacting with medical teams, match officials, and broadcasters
- Setting up audio and video systems, including cameras and RRA monitors
- Monitoring and operating systems during matches
Additional responsibilities include
- match checks, liaising with officials, and logistical organization.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Required skills:
- Organizational, analytical, and
- solving skills - Proactive attitude and initiative
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills in English
- Flexibility with working hours
Preferred skills:
- Technical background in IT or Broadcast
- Interest in sports, especially football
- Experience with VT/replay technology or live events
- Ability to travel within Europe; driving license is a plus
