Material Manager Rotterdam

Overview

We are looking for a Material Logistics Manager to join a major industrial project as part of a decarbonization initiative in the Netherlands near Rozenburg.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of material logistics throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Monitor and manage material flows: receiving, shipping, internal movements, and traceability.
• Work closely with local logistics teams on the various European project sites.
• Help implement and optimize tracking tools (Excel, internal software, etc. ).
• Be present on the ground to supervise operations and identify bottlenecks.
• Assist in coordinating logistics between project sites.
• Contribute to the setup of storage areas and material distribution on the final site.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
• Report any issues and propose concrete corrective actions.

Experience

• Initial experience in logistics, supply chain, or site coordination.
• Understanding of complex industrial environments.
• Field experience is a strong asset (construction site, warehouse, factory, etc. ).
• Basic knowledge of logistics tools and software (Excel, ERP, etc. ).

Your profile

• 10 years minimum as a material manager on an industrial site
• Autonomous, rigorous, and
  - on mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, and adaptability in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) to operate in an international context.
• Willingness to travel across Europe during different project phases.
• Field-oriented and physically fit: the sites are large and the work is
  - on and active.
